Approach Towards Self, Self-Actualization, and Self-Acceptance of Marginalized Women
Re-authoring "is the process of deconstructing to reconstructing. Re-authoring within our founders Dr. Myrna's midwifing therapeutic method provides a safe and sacred space for Black, Women of Color, and Marginalized women to deconstruct inner shame and harmful experiences of trauma. Reconstructing an identity that fosters self-acceptance.
Through constructing a healing environment that gives them permission to redefine their identity without the prejudice of their past or external voices and begin their healing journey.
Re-authoring their narrative from trauma to triumph examining the fractured self (the breaking of one’s mental, emotional, and spiritual self as a result of inhumane treatment, dehumanization, oppression, objectification (sexual and non-sexual), and domestication) that has cost women their freedom of voice, freedom of interpretation, freedom to choose, freedom of personhood, and freedom to become.
Re-authoring offers a space for women to develop and become their true self permitting them to re-integrate and deconstruct their multiple-reality experience.
This framework invites empowerment for the women to speak their truth and become whole in mind, body, and soul.
Thereby shifting them from a fractured state to a liberative state of self-acceptance. Promoting healing and wholeness through the telling, hearing, and sharing their story through their own lens.
Affirming their narrative, and deconstructing the negative identity internalized through their trauma permitting them to embrace their humanity and the fullness of who they are rather than what they have experienced".
If you are a victim survivor re-author your story today and/or partner with our non profit organization to restore dignity, identity, self-worth, and self-love.
Dr. Myrna
Investing in women to receive counseling is an act of empowerment. Empowerment as it 1) demonstrates they matter; 2) resources don't limit their desire or the opportunity to become whole, experience healing, and 3) they are not alone.
When they experience others as caring and demonstrating compassion it models for them a healthier example of what love looks like, invites them to shift from a fractured self to a cohesive self, and utilize available resources to examine their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and/or actions on their journey of healing and self-actualization.
Your partnership and support with our non profit organization gives the gift of healing. Please join us in our fight to end the marginalization and fracturing of a woman's identity and self worth through the gift of any amount. Your gift allows victim survivors to begin their healing journey and re-author their story.
Partner with our non profit organization to offer 10 counseling scholarships for women to begin their healing journey and re-author their story.
In the United States each year more than 10 million women and men are victims of DV. DV affects 1 out of 4 women and 1 in 3 men in their lifetime and IPV account for 15% of all violent crimes.
Moreover, research shows transgendered persons are 1.7 times more likely to experience IPV when compared to cisgenders.
DV does not discriminate and continues to plague our society causing trauma, harm, and death.
Let us work together to put an end to the violence that dehumanizes the mind, body, and spirit of those who experience violence at the hands of a perpetrator and journey alongside survivors on their healing journey.
The core of our non profit organization's trauma and grief work is to education faith organizations, support victims, and communities.
We believe that we are stronger together and when we work together, we can shut out darkness and bring light that transforms, heals, empowers, and re-authors the life of every victim on their healing journey.
Putting an end to DV and IPV is a necessity to stop the trauma that plagues the soul of the victim, their family, our community, and larger society.
Our commitment to partner with DV organizations is an important part of the work we do as a 501c3 faith based non profit organization.
We stand in solidarity and join the fight to end the violence that perpetrates the mind, body, and spirit of persons who suffer these atrocities.
Commit to partner and fight with us today.

100%! What happens in the therapeutic encounter remains between the counselor and client.
The time that your counseling or coaching process will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your process.
